Shabbat Shira at Temple Beth El of Boca Raton

Shabbat Evening Services

There is nothing quite like the spirit of Shabbat on Friday evenings at Temple Beth El!  Shabbat Evening Services are held Fridays at 7:30 pm, except for the first Friday of the month when services begin at 6:00 pm. We welcome Shabbat with prayer, song, and reflection; read the weekly Torah portion; and include a blend of traditional Hebrew and contemporary English liturgy.

Shabbat evening services are always livestreamed, and an archive of recent past services is always available.

Saturday Shabbat Mornings

Saturday Shabbat mornings begin at 9:30 am with an intimate Torah Study led by our rabbis. When there is a  Bar or Bat Mitzvah celebration at 10:45 am or 11:30 am, you are invited to join us. View the worship schedule for a week by week schedule. View the Bar/Bat Mitzvah schedule.

Tot Shabbat

This service is geared towards families with pre-readers (up to age 5) who wish to come and capture that special Shabbat feeling! Scheduled for one Friday each month at Temple Beth El Beck Family Campus, Tot Shabbat starts with pizza dinner and is always followed by a special Oneg treat. Open to the community but registration is required.

Family Participation Shabbat

A relaxed kid-friendly Shabbat for families to attend with their children ages 8 and up at Temple Beth El Beck Family Campus. Come for a delicious pizza dinner before the Family Participation Service. There is no charge for the dinner, you must register so we can plan for food.

Kabbalat Shabbat Service

This worship service includes contemporary music accompanied by guitar, meditative liturgies, explanations of service elements, and often a guest speaker or lesson from our rabbis. This service invites congregational interaction and participation in a more informal atmosphere.
