Free Concert For Young Families: Award-Winning Children’s Performer Ellen Allard Comes To Temple Beth El of Boca Raton

Families with young children (8 and under) are invited to attend a fun-filled concert with Ellen Allard, multi-award winning recording artist, composer, performer and educator; and one of the most popular musical performers for young children on today’s contemporary music scene. The Ellen Allard Concert  will be held at Temple Beth El of Boca Raton Schaefer Family Campus on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 4:00 pm. This concert is FREE and open to the community through the generosity of Temple Beth El’s Cantor Stephen Dubov z”l Music Enrichment Fund and the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County.

With over 30 years’ experience performing and teaching music and telling stories to young children, and nine award-winning CDs in her catalog, Ellen Allard continues to charm young children and their parents with her interactive, infectious and entertaining music. With a strong commitment to building community through music, Ellen has a unique, charismatic, charming, and heartwarming way of inviting audiences to sing with her. She is a natural-born performer whose outstanding musicianship, clever songwriting, and personal charisma are front and center whether performing for an intimate audience or in a large concert hall with seating for thousands.

Her three volumes of Sing it! Say it! Stamp it! Sway it! contain easy-to-learn songs, chants, finger plays and singing games which quickly became children’s classics. Raise The Children and Good Kid include songs like “Driving In My Car”, “Birdy Tweet Tweet”, and “Rattlin’ Bog”, often requested favorites at her children’s and family concerts. Ellen’s recordings have been recognized with awards from Children’s Music Web, Parents’ Guide to Children’s Media, and Parents’ Choice. One of the most often comments heard about Ellen’s recordings is that parents enjoy listening to them even after their children go to bed!

“We are thrilled to be able to provide this concert for our Beth El Early Learning Center families and the greater community of families with young children,” said Cantor Lori Shapiro. “The joy of music is an integral part of Temple Beth El. We can’t wait to see the children singing and dancing in the aisles!”
