Senior Circle Breakfast: The Face of the Soldier and the Legacy of War with Dr. Samuel Edelman and Flora Zolin

dr. samuel edelmanDr. Samuel Edelman is a world-renowned lectere on Holocaust and Israel Studies, and a founding faculty member of the New Academic Council for Israel. He will discuss the impact of U.S. antagonism toward Jews on the Nazis final solution, how the U.S. tried to redeem itself with the War Refugee Board, liberating the camps, and helping Jews get to Palestine.

Following that we will hear from Flora Zolin, co-organizer of a local group of photographers and volunteers who offer free portraits of those who have served in the military, along with their significant other. If you are a veteran, you will be able to sign up for a portrait sitting at a future date.

Senior Circle is geared toward members ages mid-60 and up.
