Night of 50 Shabbat Dinners
Friday, March 8, 2019
Gather with your Temple Beth El family and friends for Shabbat dinner!
Here’s how it works: As a participant, you can Register to be a HOST or GUEST.
Hosts: Let the Temple know how many guests you can accommodate and we’ll place guests with you, or invite your own guests, or both! Hosts receive a special Shabbat thank you gift from the Temple.
Guests: Let us know if you have a particular home you’d like to attend, or a person you’d like to attend with. Whether you have a specific request or not, we will be sure to find you a wonderful place to spend Shabbat.
Shabbat Blessings: Households will gather to watch a specially recorded video of our clergy leading us in Shabbat blessings, or join our Clergy on a conference call for live Shabbat blessings. Then spend the rest of the evening enjoying Shabbat among old friends and new, brought together as part of our Temple Beth El family.
Dinners are not limited to homes – get together at restaurants, at a park, at a clubhouse or wherever works best for you. You can cook, make it pot luck or oder in. Each dinner can include any number of people, whether it’s 6, 10, 20 or more.
There is no fee to participate in this event. Event related costs have been generously underwritten by Brotherhood.
Register to be a HOST or GUEST or contact Rachael Rand at 561-391-8900. Deadline to register is Monday, February 25, 2019.
After you register, we will be in touch with you to let you know with whom you’ll be spending Shabbat!
There will be a brief Shabbat evening service at Temple Beth El Schaefer Family Campus at 5:30 pm for those who wish to attend or are observing Yahrzeit and saying Kaddish.
