The Giving Tree of Temple Beth El is an all volunteer grassroots organization consisting of a steering committee of 5 along with hundreds of volunteers within our congregation and throughout the community. Contact us to get involved or to donate. Your financial contribution will help families in need.
We engage with local agencies, schools and other community organizations to identify specific individual needs of children, families and seniors in our community who would benefit from The Giving Tree resources.
We help foster children, families down on their luck, homeless teens, victims of tragic circumstances like fire, medical issues or death of a parent.
The Quiet Giving program provides basic necessities including furniture, house wares, clothing, diapers, school uniforms, shoes, socks, underwear and more to families and children in need. With a concentration on “Rapid Response” support, we are able to contribute to the reunification of families and keep children from spending time in a shelter.
Sweet Dreams provides new beds, bunk beds, cribs, toddler beds to youth who would otherwise be sleeping on the floor or in an unsafe, unsanitary environment.
The Holiday gift program provides specific necessities as holiday gifts to approximately 2000 needy local children and seniors yearly.
The Giving Tree of Temple Beth El has the mission to spread kindness, dignity, and hope to those in need within our local area. Each recipient is treated as if they are a member of our own family as we strive to identify and support the needs of the children, young adults, families and seniors among us who do not have access to some of the most basic necessities.
Sign up for a volunteer wrapping shift at The Giving Tree of Temple Beth El's Holiday Workshop where we wrap over 10,000 gifts for about 2,000 children and 300 seniors.
