There is nothing quite like the spirit of Shabbat on Friday evenings at Temple Beth El! Shabbat Evening Services are held Fridays at 7:30 pm, except for the third Friday of the month when services begin at 6:00 pm. We welcome Shabbat with prayer, song, and reflection; read the weekly Torah portion; and include a blend of traditional Hebrew and contemporary English liturgy.
Saturday Shabbat mornings begin at 9:30 am with an intimate Torah Study led by our rabbis, and continue with the morning minyan at 10:45 am.
This service is geared towards families with pre-readers (up to age 5) who wish to come and capture that special Shabbat feeling! Scheduled for one Friday each month at Temple Beth El Beck Family Campus, Tot Shabbat starts with pizza dinner and is always followed by a special Oneg treat. Open to the community but registration is required.
Held once a month, this worship service in the Starkoff Chapel includes contemporary music accompanied by guitar, meditative liturgies, explanations of service elements, and often a guest speaker or lesson from our rabbis. This service invites congregational interaction and participation in a more informal atmosphere.
