A native Floridian, Rachel was born and raised in Miami. She graduated from the Florida State University with a Bachelor in Social Work, concentration in gerontology. Due to her extensive volunteer work with Hospice, Rachel was awarded the prestigious Humanitarian of The Year Award from the Florida State University. After receiving a Master in Health Care Administration, Rachel became a licensed nursing home administrator. From the age of 23, she was responsible for the overall operations for skilled nursing homes in Florida and Maryland. As the Mausoleum Director, she draws on professional and volunteer experiences to provide a compassionate presence to the members, families and friends of Temple Beth EL.
Rachel lives in Boca Raton with her four daughters Alexa, Hillary, Emily and Holly. Her daughters are graduates of the Beth El Early Learning Center and they currently attend religious school at Temple Beth El. Rachel was also the founder and President of Parenthood at the Beth El Early Learning Center.
