YAD POINTS THE WAY

The Youth Activities Department (YAD) provides opportunities and experiences for children in 3rd through 12th grades. Through youth groups, social action projects and social events we continue to help our youth find ways to spend quality time with their Jewish peers. Youth group events will be held at our Main Campus and at the Beck Family Campus. Transportation will be provided between the two campuses. 
 
Club Kitanim - 3rd, 4th and 5th Grades
Club Kitanim meets once a month from 12 Noon to 2 PM. The events will be held in temple, except for the end of the year pool party. Events always include lunch and a program with a Jewish feel to it. Club Kitanim allows for an informal environment where the children can interact outside the classroom with other Jewish youth. Club Kitanim is committed to providing a safe, fun-filled place for children to make lasting friendships.

$100 membership for TBE members
$150 membership for non-TBE members

 
Club Chai - 6th, 7th and 8th Grades
The goal of the Club Chai is to offer a place where our youth from the community can gather in a social setting for fun, learning and leadership opportunities. By participating in Club Chai, students will gain a greater appreciation for Judaism by making lasting friendships and gaining skills that will enable them to become more effective leaders.

Meeting monthly allows us to offer a taste of howJudaism can fit into our everyday life. All Club Chai events are offered at a discounted rate, with membership helping to offset the cost of Orlando overnights and daily trips. Events range from a temple movie night to weekend theme park outings. We hope that you will encourage your teen to join and take part in the exciting events Club Chai has to offer.

$150 membership for non-TBE members
 
BOFTY (Boca's Original Federation of Temple Youth)
Temple Beth El's senior youth group, serving 9th-12th graders. BOFTY is a youth group for teens, run by teens. With a combination of social action, religious and social events, BOFTY gives older teens the opportunity to mix and mingle.
