As members of the congregation and the South Beach Jewish Community, we feel that it is crucial to create a caring community. With that in mind, we have formed a new committee here at Temple Beth El. Called the TBE Addiction Support Team, our goal is to reach out to those in the Jewish community who are going through the process of recovery. Our committee members include clergy, social workers, an educator, a therapist, recovering addicts, and other individuals who have experience with the recovery process, and we are looking for others who would like to get involved. 

 

Whether you or someone that you love is working through alcoholism, drug, or any other addiction, we are here to offer support. While we are not an emergency outreach program, we hope that we will be able to provide you with the assistance you are seeking. We work with other congregations in the area so that we can continue to learn and share information with you and the rest of the community. We feel that prevention education and awareness are extremely important.
