Our Religious School for students K-12 is dedicated to deepening Jewish knowledge and experience by strengthening faith in God and love of Torah. We encourage identification with the Jewish people, the student’s involvement in the synagogue, and participation in Jewish life.

Our Religious School is the first in the nation to be accredited four times by the National Association of Temple Educators (NATE).

  • Youth ProgramsTemple Beth El’s Youth Activities Department (YAD) provides opportunities and experiences for children in 1st through 12th grades. We continue to help our youth find ways to spend quality time with other Jewish peers through youth groups, informal programming, social action projects, and social events.
  •  Family EducationFamily Education is an opportunity for parents and their children to learn, grow, share and experience the joy of Jewish education. It’s a hands-on interactive opportunity to laugh and have fun while learning.
  • Adult Continuing Education - We value intellectual inquiry and expression and provide a venue for both through our traditional classes, dialogues, and workshops. We encourage adult congregants to participate in all our classes that range from studies of Torah to cultural, religious, and political discussions.

  • Helen and Merrill Bank Adult Library – Congregants are encouraged to use the Helen and Merrill Bank Adult Library that offers daily local newspapers as well as a wide variety of Judaic books and videos.
