CLEAN OUT FOR PASSOVER AND DO A MITZVAH!

Getting ready for Passover?  Want to do a mitzvah?  Donations will be accepted at Main and Beck Family Campuses through Sunday, April 17 and will be given to Boca Helping Hands food pantry.

Chametz, refers to leavened products that are forbidden to be consumed on Passover Chametz is "leaven" -- any food that's made of grain and water that have been allowed to ferment and "rise." Bread, cereal, cake, cookies, pizza and pasta are blatant examples of chametz and are not consumed on Passover; but any food that contains grain or grain derivatives can be, and often is, chametz.

Chametz is the replaced by matzah, the unleavened bread we eat on Passover to recall the haste in which we left Egypt,. Matzah is the symbol of the Exodus, a central component of the Seder rituals, and the heart of the "Festival of Matzot"

Sponsored by Social Action Committee of Temple Beth El of Boca Raton.
