Welcome to Temple Beth El of Boca Raton
If you are looking for a warm, caring Jewish congregation and a place to learn about and experience the meaning of Reform Judaism, you’ll find it at Temple Beth El.
We welcome you to participate in your new home. Here you will find a myriad of activities for all ages where you can easily be a part of our social, educational, cultural and spiritual programs. We’ll help you to get involved, meet new friends and nurture your Jewish soul.
Founded in 1967, Temple Beth El is one of the largest Reform congregations in the southeastern United States. We take pride in making membership accessible to as many people as possible through a broad range of membership categories. Our members are diverse in age, come from a variety of professional and family backgrounds, and are deeply committed to supporting each other and the Temple’s activities and programs.
“There are so many things I love about Temple Beth El – the rabbinical staff, the worship, the music, the holidays,”says Stan. “But what is most important to me is the spirit and energy of the people around me, as we pray together to a greater power. This is a congregation that reaches out to others. I feel inspired to partner with God to perform good deeds and make the world a better place. ”
Stan Bass, member since 1996.
We invite you to learn more about us by reading through our web site, signing up to receive e-mail updates, calling us, and -- best of all -- visiting us at the temple. Sustaining Membership
“A torch is not diminished though it kindles a million candles.”
Midrash Exodus Rabbah 30:3
Sustaining Members are a visionary group of Temple Beth El members who incorporate a Tzedakah contribution into their annual dues. Their generosity enables us to:
- maintain our exceptional programming and quality education
- provide personal spiritual guidance and innovative worship services
- be a source to those in need
This annual enhanced dues program provides the additional funds necessary to fulfill the mission of Temple Beth El because we are a community that takes care of one another. That means that every man, woman and child who enters our doors is able to become part of our family.
There are 6 levels of Sustaining Membership and we recognize the generosity of those congregants who enhance their dues commitment on our Sustaining Membership Wall in the Temple foyer.
Please consider becoming a torch for Temple Beth El so our candles will continue to glow brightly.
