Havurah

What is a Havurah?

Havurah (plural is Havurot) comes from the Hebrew word, haver, meaning friend or fellowship. Each Havurah is a small group of Temple members who come together to learn, socialize and enjoy Jewish living. They study together, worship together, celebrate Jewish holidays together, and eat together. For many, the Havurah is an extended family.

Havurah programming is utterly dependent upon the interaction between individuals. We would like to again this year help current Havurot stay strong and allow new ones to grow and blossom.

If you are currently a member of a TBE Havurah, this night is to honor your participation in our Havurah program. For those interested in joining a Havurah, come find out more about at this special evening.

If you are not currently in a Havurah and are interested in joining, please fill out the Havurah Application or call or email Rabbi Jessica Spitalnic Brockman at jbrockman@tbeboca.org.
