Endowment Funds provide financial resources in support of the overall mission of Temple Beth El. Each year the Temple takes the income from the Fund – not the principal – and uses the money for a variety of programs. Endowment Funds include educational scholarships for needy youth, library purchases, elderly services, musical programming, Scholar-in-Residence programs, and a myriad of other Temple needs.
Any amount may be contributed to the Unrestricted Endowment Fund of the Temple or to an existing Named Endowment Fund. (A minimum donation is $18.) Should you wish to establish a new Named Endowment Fund, a minimum gift of $10,000 is required. All endowment gifts are contributed to the Temple’s endowment portfolio that is administered by the Temple’s Investment Committee with outside professional management.
