Confirmation is a religious experience during which 10
th grade students affirm their commitment to Judaism as their cultural and religious identity. The vehicle for communicating the knowledge and feelings about being Jewish is the Shavuot Confirmation Service which students create as their commitment to the covenant with the Jewish people. A Confirmation Retreat is also held so students may demonstrate their respect for self and others.
